The Tsylos Park Lodge guides are passionate anglers and love to share their knowledge on fly patterns, fishing techniques and history of the area. You can spend the day on awe-inspiring Chilko Lake fishing the mouth of glacial streams for Bull Trout surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, pristine beaches, and no one for miles.
With a guide for each two anglers, try drifting a dry fly from a drift boat, jet sled or float-tube. The waters are so clear you are able to watch a 20″+ wild rainbow trout track your fly, then explode in a ferocity bringing a triumphant howl from you and a scream to your reel. It is not only a major spawning and rearing habitat for the resident freshwater species like Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, and resident Steelhead, but also for Chinook, Sockeye, Coho salmon as well as Steelhead.Ĭhilko River is an unprecedented Rainbow trout fishery bringing you a dry fly season that runs from the start of July and extending into September.
